Terms and conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to DirectoryFast, operated by Accura (France). These terms govern your use of the DirectoryFast service. Read them alongside our Privacy statement.
2. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. What the service is
DirectoryFast is a hosted service. You describe a niche to an AI client connected over MCP, and the service designs a listing structure, researches and writes entries, and publishes a directory website on our infrastructure.
You are buying access to a running service, not a copy of software. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to our source code. This replaces the perpetual code licence granted under the terms that applied before 31 July 2026; if you bought that licence, it survives on its own terms and is not affected by this document.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be able to enter into a contract in your country to hold an account.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
There is a free plan and a paid plan. The free plan runs a complete directory on a subdomain we provide, which is deliberately not indexed by search engines. The paid plan adds a custom domain and indexation. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and include any tax we are required to charge.
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is taken by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record.
You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a period you have started.
We may change prices. An increase applies to your next renewal, never to a period already paid, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have fourteen days from subscribing to withdraw, without giving a reason. Where you ask for the service to start immediately and acknowledge that doing so ends your right of withdrawal once performance is complete, that acknowledgement applies; where performance has only begun, we may retain an amount proportionate to what you have used.
Outside that, we do not offer refunds for periods already begun, because you may cancel at any time and keep the access you have paid for. If something has gone genuinely wrong, write to us and we will look at it.
7. Your content
The directories, listings, articles and other material you create remain yours. You grant us the licence we need to host, process and publish them as part of running the service, and nothing more. That licence ends when the content is deleted.
You are responsible for what you publish: that you have the right to publish it, and that it is lawful where it is read. You can export your listings as structured data at any time.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to publish unlawful content, to infringe anyone's rights, to publish personal data you have no basis to publish, to send unsolicited email, or to attack or overload our infrastructure or anyone else's. Do not use it to build directories whose purpose is to manipulate search rankings with content that serves no reader.
9. Our intellectual property
The DirectoryFast software, its design and its brand remain ours. Your subscription grants no rights in them beyond using the service as intended.
10. AI-generated content
Parts of the service generate text and structure automatically, and they draw on third-party models and on public web pages. Output can be wrong. You are the publisher of what appears on your directory, and you are expected to review it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, complete, or free of third-party rights.
11. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell you, and you may cancel.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that fails to pay, or whose use puts the service or other users at risk. Except where a breach is serious or a law requires otherwise, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
You may close your account at any time. On closure your published sites stop being served. Ask us before closing if you want an export.
13. Warranty disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing here excludes the warranties a consumer is entitled to under mandatory law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss of data where you could reasonably have kept your own copy.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date below changes when we do. A material change will be announced by email to account holders before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept, cancel before the change applies.
16. Governing law and language
French law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts there.
These terms are published in French and in English. The French version prevails; the English one is a translation offered for convenience.
